How to check: Rust Shield leaves a hydrophobic barrier on your vehicle's chassis. Once the hydrophobic properties start to fail It's time to reapply.

Pro Tip: If your chassis doesn't rinse clean with a quick wash. Your Rust Shield coating may need topping up.

How to Use

Step 1 - CLEAN
Start by spraying All Purpose Cleaner over dirty or greasy chassis and underbody areas. Clean thoroughly. No dirt or mud should be left behind.

Step 2 - AGITATE
Use the Hard Brush’s stiff bristles on thick mud, salt deposits and stubborn grime across durable surfaces. For lighter contamination or more delicate finishes, use the Soft Brush’s ultra-soft flagged bristles. Rinse or pressure-wash the residue away, repeat the clean if needed, then allow the metal to dry completely.

STEP 3 - SPRAY Rust Shield
Spray Rust Shield. Apply an even coating. One standard 4x4 uses around 330 ml (11.1 oz). Less than one bottle. Extra coating performs worse.

STEP 4 - CURE
Tack dry in 3 hours, so normal tarmac driving is fine the same day. Then takes 3-4 days to cure and harden before beach, trail, or wet roads.

Give it a touch test before the next trip. Hard and non-stick means it's ready.

Important: Do not apply to brakes, engines or exhaust components. Wear suitable respiratory and eye protection during application.
