MORETON ISLAND '24

A short 90-minute ferry trip over to Moreton Island and the crew were super hyped for the next few days with a cracking weather forecast lined up for us. Our plan for day one was to head left and cruise up the western coast to try and find ourselves the perfect place to call home for the next few nights. A few inland tracks, boggings, and surf reports later, we found ourselves calling Yellow Patch campground home. Unfortunately, Alex from our marketing team and Adogg found themselves running out of talent crossing a washout and both going down in the soft sand! These washouts can be tricky to navigate with a trailer, and not wanting to hit them too quickly - walking these little crossings are always your best and safest mate! The day wrapped up with a sunset surf and foil at North Point and a few sunset beers! How could you possibly beat that view…

A bright and early start for the team Friday morning with all focus on taking the Jet Skis out for a fishing mission over sunrise! On this trip, we brought over two Jet Skis, each kitted out for surfing, rescue, and fishing, featuring the Jet Tech Adventure Fish Box, Traction Turf, Seat Straps, Rescue Sled, and more. It was wet conditions with a big swell but the boys managed to get it done snagging themselves a cracking Snapper that was dinner. Next stop for the crew was the ever so iconic Tangalooma Wrecks. As picturesque and stunning as you could imagine, the accidental wrecks of Tangalooma were enjoyed via snorkel, Jet Ski, and Seabob (an insane piece of machinery). Day 2 was wrapped up with mental sunset scenes with the crew getting towed into a heap of super crispy waves at North Point.

Kicking it off with another magical sunrise, the team were keen and eager to fill the coolers with some more fish! Unfortunately, things came undone rather quickly and a loose strap on one of the Jet Skis got sucked up the jet and wrapped around the propeller. Resulting in a slow tow back with our Jet Tech tow line to shallower (and less sharky) water to cut and remove the strap. Alex doing a great job at becoming the kook of the trip with the worst bogging yesterday and now this! With Ally and Jack leaving this afternoon, we farewelled these legends and spent the day shooting some new and exciting products that we are releasing over the next few months (get keen)!

Day 4 was home time for us, with a few sore heads in the morning after celebrating such an amazing trip with the best crew! With the tides in our favor, we had an epic cruise to the ferry along the beach at low tide, seeing all the beauty Moreton Island has to offer. We were all feeling super devastated to be leaving.

Making big jobs easy with our range of Salt Shift products, the essential post-trip wash was smashed out with ease. Standout products as always being the chassis flusher and underbody blaster getting rid of all that salt and sand caught up in sneaky nooks and crevices of the underbody and chassis of each vehicle. The ultimate off-road kit covering all bases with everything you could need to smash out the perfect deep clean every time. With some sorrowful goodbyes, the crew parted ways and headed home for some much-needed showers! That’s all from us for this Moreton Island trip - catch all the footage, fun, and antics from our trip over on our YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok!
