.

Why This Role Matters

Salt Shift isn’t just a brand — it’s a lifestyle for those who live for the ocean, the throttle, the salt, and the freedom that comes with it. We’re building the leading brand in saltwater protection and high-performance marine care, and content is the engine that drives our growth. As our Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, you’ll be the one keeping that engine firing — showing up boldly, consistently, and creatively across every single platform. This role is for someone who lives the lifestyle, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to be truly hands-on in building something from the ground up. You’ll be part producer, part creator, part content strategist, and an essential part of our next stage of scale.

What You’ll Do

Content, Campaigns & Social
  • Own and manage the entire content calendar — ensuring every campaign, post, and asset goes out on time
  • Create content in-house — from planning to shooting to posting across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
  • Post across TikTok, IG/FB, and Shorts
  • Be comfortable in front of the camera — filming product demos, ride-along content, behind-the-scenes shoots, lifestyle pieces and ads
  • Edit short-form videos (reels, TikToks, UGC) optimised for Meta and TikTok performance
  • Engage daily with our community — responding to comments, DMs, TikTok replies, and conducting proactive outreach to grow the audience
  • Brief creators and UGC talent with clear direction, ensuring brand-aligned and performance-driven output
  • Manage external creators, influencers, and affiliate partners — briefing, reviewing, approving and scheduling deliverables
Performance & Growth
  • Track content performance across all channels to identify what’s converting, what’s engaging, and what needs to be killed
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and founder to bring high-impact creative campaigns to life
  • Support performance marketing with ad-ready creative designed to scale on Meta
Events, Culture & Community
  • Coordinate Salt Shift’s presence at shows, events, pop-ups and community activations
  • Run and support community-based talent engagement initiatives
  • Help on shoots, brainstorm hooks, and jump in the water with a GoPro when needed — fully plugged into the Salt Shift lifestyle
  • Drive Skis and 4x4s for content days (experience preferred)
Tools, Platforms & Partnerships
  • Publish and update content across Shopify, Klaviyo, TikTok Shop, IG/FB, and email
  • Manage Shopify Collabs for influencers and affiliate talent
  • Coordinate all marketing deliverables across social, email, ads, and product launches
  • Work in-house with the team — this is a highly collaborative, hands-on role

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, social media, content, or creative coordinator role
  • Strong project management skills — you’re across every moving piece and always two steps ahead
  • Confidently briefing creators and providing feedback
  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Shop, Shopify Collabs, and Google Analytics
  • Passion for performance marketing and knowing what makes content convert
  • Obsessed with social media — trends, hooks, visuals, edits, storytelling
  • A natural communicator — fast, clear, solutions-focused
  • Someone who genuinely connects to the marine, outdoor and adventure lifestyle
  • Enthusiastic, hungry to grow, and excited to help shape a brand people obsess over
  • Comfortable on camera
  • Gold Coast-based in office or hybrid role

Why Join Salt Shift

  • No corporate layers — real ownership, real impact
  • Work directly with an experienced founder and marketing team
  • Your ideas will be executed fast and seen by millions
